BLU LINK-POWERED INTEROPERABILITY
HARMAN’s pioneering BLU link technology simplifies audio routing and enhances system flexibility, fostering interoperability and ease of use. The technology underscores HARMAN's commitment to delivering cutting-edge solutions that support the rigorous demands of advanced audio applications.
BLU link is a high-speed, high-bandwidth, low-latency, and fault-tolerant digital audio bus. Supporting up to 256 channels, it can be used as a standalone technology or as a complement to Dante and AES67 audio transport technologies to enable connections between HARMAN BLU link-enabled devices.
Using CAT5e or better cabling, point-to-point connections can be made up to 100m (328ft) from each other. BLU link devices are connected from an out port to an in port between all devices as an open-ended daisy chain, or as a closed ring for self-healing.
BLU link empowers connections to a wide variety of BLU link-enabled HARMAN products such as BSS Soundweb London signals processors, Crown DCi “N” Series amplifiers, Soundcraft mixing consoles, and more.
USB-LYD
BLU LINK NETWORK TRANSPORT EXPANSION OPTIONS
BLU link serves as an excellent complement to various network audio transport formats, including Dante. With the right BSS Soundweb London processor, Dante can be seamlessly converted to BLU link for localized distribution within a rack or rack room.
Utilizing this style of system design mitigates network congestion and expands system options to any BLU link-enabled amplifier, processor, or accessory. This approach works identically between Dante, AES67, CobraNet, and AVB.
