Elke GPIO-poort is configureerbaar naar formaat (analoog of digitaal) en richting (ingang of uitgang). Elk kanaal kan ook worden geconfigureerd als digitaire binaire, om 0 of 5 volt te leveren, of om spanningen tussen 0 en 12 volt te ontvangen of verzenden.
